Complex verb
Verb meaning: SING [sing]
Comment: A transitive verb with an inherent NP complement. The internal structure of the verb consists of the verb root ko̩ 'to crow', and the NP object orin 'song'. The verb can occur in the possessive alternation if the sentence expresses a possession. E.g. Ade sang my song.
