Complex verb

Verb meaning: HIDE [hide]

Comment: A bipartite verb; the object of the verb is sometimes inserted between the two halves of the verb in a construction that appears like a serial verb construction i.e., NP pa NP mó̩. This is the basic construction. There is also the alternate construction in which fi is used to introduce the theme. In this construction the form of the verb is preserved as a single unit.
