Simplex verb

Verb meaning: FEAR [fear]

Comment: The verb temere also has an intransitive variant, in which the theme/stimulus argument is non-core, encoded as a prepositional phrase headed by the preposition per 'for', and cannot be passivized. The verb also allows an intransitive variant, with an additional affected participant (which is neither an experiencer nor a stimulus) expressed as a prepositional phrase headed by the preposition per ('for').
