the non-finite construction is both role-relinking and role-manipulating; in this construction the verbal noun is governed by the preposition/infinitive particle do, the second argument is raised to the main clause and flagged with the case required by the main clause, the first argument, if present, may be flagged either with the preposition la+acc or by the preposition ó+dat (both used also with passive finite forms), or by the preposition do+dat, which exclusively flags the agent with non-finite forms
