In Greek the passive alternation is marked by continuants of the PIE mediopassive or ‘middle’ which, in some cases, is to be interpreted as a passive. For the aorist and the future stem, a dedicated morpheme -(th)ē- that encodes the passive (and to a more limited extent the anticausative) voice is found.
