Alternation ‘passive (T)’ (Coded)

The periphrastic passive is normally formed as in Present-Day English, but especially early in the period the auxiliary could be wurðen instead of ben. (Fulk 2012: 105). In this case, the second argument (theme) of a three-place verb is passivized.
