In Old Latin the reflexive alternation can be encoded by: (i) forms of their regular inflection, in case of first/second person pronouns; (ii) distinctive forms (sui for the genitive case, sibi for the dative, and sē for both accusative and ablative) of the third person pronoun. The verb occurs in the active voice.
