Alternation ‘reciprocal alternation’ (Uncoded)

The reciprocal alternation is encoded by adding the reciprocal marker o énas ton állo 'each other' (or metaksi mas/ sas/ tus (‘between (among) us/ you/ them’)), which may establish a reciprocal relationship either between the two arguments of a bivalent verb (direct reciprocal) or between the first and the third argument of a trivalent verb [Note: O énas ton állo is used with masculine subjects. Feminine and neuter subjects require the reciprocal pronouns i mía tin álli and to éna to állo respectively]
